Per state regulations, riding the bus to Camp Ozark will look a little different this year. While state regulations do not require children 9 or under to wear face coverings, we strongly recommend all campers bring and wear face coverings (such as buffs or gaiters) and use them at appropriate times while at camp. All campers riding the bus to camp must wear a face mask for face covering (except while eating) and we ask only 1 parent and no non-camper siblings attend the bus departure location.
Any family members, parents, or guardians exhibiting the below mentioned symptoms are prohibited from attending the camper bus departure site.
-Fever of 100.4 or greater -Vomiting or diarrhea in the past 48 hours
-New cough – Body aches in the past 14 days
-Shortness of breath – Sore throat or chills
In order to ensure that the traffic flows smoothly and we can limit the time you are waiting in your vehicle, we ask that you arrive at your assigned arrival time. Your arrival time will be sent to you via email on Thursday before opening day. The bus will depart Baton Creek Square at 6:00 AM and the first arrival time assignment will begin at 5:15 AM.
Campers of all ages are REQUIRED to wear a face covering throughout the entire bus ride for the health and safety of our campers and staff members. They will be permitted to remove their face covering in order to eat and drink. Please be sure your camper comes to the bus check-in with a face covering to put on upon boarding the bus.
Follow the direction of the Camp Ozark staff to pull into a check-in lane. Per state regulations, parents are asked to wear face coverings while in their car and interacting with Camp Ozark Staff. Roll down camper window. Parents may open their vehicle windows a little to speak to Camp Ozark Staff, but please do not roll the window all the way down. In order to avoid contact at check-in, we ask that parents use their My Ozark Dashboard to pay for store credits or tuition balances.
You will be greeted by a Camp Ozark Staff who will:
Camp Ozark staff will direct you to the camper unloading and bus boarding area. Parent/guardians should remain in the car at all times. Please be sure your camper has everything they want on the bus with them organized and ready to go, as they will be getting out of the car and on the bus at this point.
Camp Ozark staff will direct you to luggage unloading areas. Parents/guardians should remain in the car for luggage unloading by the Camp Ozark staff. Please be sure your luggage is organized in the back of your vehicle in manner that allows for efficient unloading and promotes continuous traffic flow. Be sure that ALL items going to camp are labeled with the camper’s first and last name. Please note that your camper’s luggage does not need to go on the bus that your camper is riding on. All luggage will be unloaded, sorted, and distributed to the correct cabin upon arrival at Camp Ozark.
We ask that you please depart the parking lot after checking-in and unloading luggage, so we can continue our drive through check-in processes efficiently.

Your camper will be greeted by their counselor. Luggage will be sorted and delivered to their cabin. Counselors will help campers get settled into their cabin and accompany them to the swim test, make any morning activity schedule changes, and pick up any pre-orders from the Camp Ozark store.
