The last few years have been challenging for all Texans in many ways, but regardless of the circumstances, there are those who answer the call of service. These are the men and women who put their lives on the line each and every day to defend our freedom, ensure an orderly society, and protect the health and well being of us all.

With grateful hearts, we want to say THANK YOU TO OUR HEROES by offering a discount on camp tuition for one week at Camp OTX, the Premier Texas Hill Country Summer Camp Experience for children ages 6-17.

KIDS NEED CAMP. Kids need a place to just be kids. Camp OTX is that place. Heroes Week at Camp OTX is priced specifically as a thank you to the children of Active Duty Military, Fire Fighters, First Responders, Law Enforcement Personnel, Nurses, Texas National Guard, and Veterans. Camp OTX Heroes Week is one week full of water slides and trail rides, sports and swimming, crafts and culinary arts. Camp OTX is the Premier Texas Hill Country Summer Camp Experience with brand new facilities featuring air-conditioned cabins, and an amazing summer staff of college role models who are ready to serve and encourage every camper.

How to apply

The Camp OTX Heroes Week Application for Summer 2026 will open in December 2025. Please join our mailing list to receive updates.

Please note:

There are limited spots available.
Applications will be reviewed on a first come, first serve basis.
Applications may take up to two weeks to review.
Once your application has been reviewed, you will be notified by email regarding the status of your application, your Camp OTX Heroes Week discounted tuition rate, and instructions on how to complete your Camp OTX registration process (including proof of service employment and payment instructions.)
