The last 12 months have been difficult for everyone. Sports, school events, birthday parties, and everything else kids look forward to – all cancelled.
You know what wasn’t cancelled? The construction of the Premier Texas Hill Country Summer Camp.
We couldn’t be more excited to kick things off in June, and hope you’re part of it. We’ve spoken to several Camp families on why they chose to be part of Camp OTX.
Scott & LeeAnn James of Waco, Texas are fired up to send their children to Camp OTX for the inaugural summer. With a decades long relationship with our sister camp, Camp Ozark in Mount Ida, Arkansas, they are excited for the Torn Family’s newest camp in the Texas Hill Country!
“After having to miss Summer 2020 at Camp because of COVID, my kids could not be more excited to be back this summer! So much has been taken from all of our kids these past 18 months, and we are so thankful that our girls will finally get back to doing their very favorite things! They are already counting down the days and can’t wait to take new friends with them to experience Camp for the very first time. As a parent, we feel blessed that they will get to spend a week not only having fun, but also being pointed towards Jesus on a daily basis and watching and learning from incredible counselors that love God, love kids, and love living life to the fullest! Summer camps have been a part of our family’s life for more than 35 years, starting with my husband attending Camp Ozark as a camper, with both of us working there as counselors, and now with all three of our children camping. Last summer made it abundantly clear that kids need Camp, and we can’t wait for Summer 2021!”
