We are excited to see you at Camp OTX! On Opening Day you will enter the front gates and drive by the Equestrian Center, Shooting Sports, and the Skypark to our Check-In near the flag pole. Parents and campers are required to remain in their cars for Check-in. In order to help reduce time spent waiting in vehicles, all campers arriving to camp via private auto have received an arrival window via text, email and the camper’s Travel Itinerary located on the My OTX dashboard.
Please arrive with parents/guardians sitting in the front seat and campers in the back seat. At check-in, campers will receive arrival screening, a name tag, and their cabin number.
Our customer care team will be available in the Camp OTX Store for any parents needing to speak to a Camp OTX staff member more in depth about any special situations.
Once Check-in is complete families will parade through the Camp OTX Cabin Row and be directed by staff to the appropriate unloading area. Camp OTX staff will greet campers and unload your camper’s luggage.
Once in the designated unloading area, Camp OTX staff will unload camper luggage from your car and assist your camper and their luggage to their cabin. Please make sure your luggage is labeled with the camper’s first and last name and that it is organized in the back of your vehicle for easy unloading. At this time, Camp OTX staff will direct you to the parking area.
After dropping off your luggage, you will be directed to our parking lot. The parking lot is right next to the Health Center. Here you should turn in EpiPens, inhalers, and medicine prescribed within the last 7 days.
Parents are welcome to accompany campers throughout the entirety of the Opening Day procedures. Assist your camper in getting settled into their cabin and accompany them to the swim test, make any morning activity schedule changes, and pick up any pre-orders from the Camp OTX store.
