Ben Hembree

Ben Hembree grew up nearby in San Antonio, and graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Construction Science. Ben was a counselor at Camp Ozark for two summers and worked on the facilities team for two more years. After 15 years in the commercial construction world, Ben was asked to join the Camp OTX construction team. He now utilizes that knowledge to run this brand new facility. Ben and his wife Megan have three kids, Chance (11), Hallie (9), and Clayton (4), and they live in the nearby town of Boerne. They have all enjoyed being a part their new Camp OTX family.

Wes and Nicole Cole

Wes grew up in Dallas and Nicole grew up just down the road in Fort Worth Texas. They went on to the University of Texas at Austin where they met and started dating. They graduated in 2015, Wes with a degree in Communications and Nicole a degree in Exercise Science. They collectively spent 13 summers at Camp Ozark and 5 years serving with the Camp Ozark Foundation as Ozone area directors in the Dallas area.

Wes loves summer camp, he loves to play and is essentially a really-really big kid with responsibilities across the camp program. Wes has always had a passion for working with kids and loves the great outdoors. He connects well with others and is able to bring out the best in people. Wes is great at balancing having a total blast while providing a safe and structured experience.

Nicole is the organized one of the family and has an enormous heart for serving and caring for others. She takes care of the team and others. She does this with her organization skills and logistical mind. If something at camp can be more effective or efficient, she will figure it out and make it happen.

Together these two are a powerful addition to Team OTX and we are so lucky to have them on the team.
