Instead of our regularly scheduled Team Competition and Morning Activities, on Saturday we switched to Ventures where campers get to try new activities that we don’t offer during the week. Some of the Ventures offered this weekend were 3v3 March Madness, Build a Boat, OTX Bake Off, OTX World Cup, OTX Masters and more! Venture Experiences take up the majority of the day lasting all morning and afternoon.

After Ventures and dinner wrapped up, it was time for Sunset Stampede! It’s the same Stampede that campers know and love…just this time, it was in the evening instead of the afternoon! With a variety of special tournaments and activities, the Waterfront was open, the Ropes Course was hopping, and the Crafts Center was bustling.! It was a great evening for Sunset Stampede! 

It was an early night to bed, lots of rest, and time to get ready for another big day at Camp OTX! 

We started Sunday morning with breakfast and a hike to the Cross upon the hill for our special Sunday morning service. It was a great time with a gorgeous view, singing, and listening and learning more about God’s love for us. In the afternoon, we welcomed new campers to Camp OTX for Session D.

We ended Sunday evening with State Fair, a night filled with inflatables, games, and a giant prize wall. Afterall, everything is bigger in Texas!
