Every morning all campers participate in fun and competitive games like Water Polo, Smashball, Newcomb, Bombardment, Team Handball, Ultimate Football, Flickerball and more. Here at Camp OTX, we teach the Three Flames of Team Competition – Maximum Effort, Maximum Enthusiasm, and True Sportsmanship. We believe that life should be lived enthusiastically, energetically and fired up! Throughout the week, campers will play games every morning with their neighboring cabins to earn points for the Red Team or the Blue Team.

After Team Comp, campers had a chance to relax and cool off during Chill Out. Then it was on to Morning Activities where every camper has a unique, personalized schedule featuring three different activities. With over 75 activities to choose from, campers can learn new skills, fine-tune existing skills, or participate in brand new activities. After a morning of learning and fun, it was off to the cabin to meet up for lunch and Rest Period.

Next up…Stampede, a camper’s favorite time of day when everything is open! During our structured free time, campers can do whatever they want for as long as they want! Talk about a total blast! At the end of Stampede, we headed to dinner and Lifeline, a time of worship filled with games, singing, good talks, laughter, and fun! What better way to end a fun filled day than with a rootin-tootin, boot-scootin, fun filled Special Event. Yee-haw for OTX Ranch Party! With hayrides, a mechanical bull, a petting zoo, smores, line dancing and more.

It was the perfect way to end day one!
