We had beautiful weather for our Opening Day Parade as we welcomed new and returning campers to the Premier Texas Hill Country Summer Camp Experience.

Once everyone was settled into their cabins, we headed off to Opening Day Games for the rest of the afternoon having fun and building friendships with new cabin friends. After dinner, we enjoyed Opening Day Lifeline with singing, dancing, and skits.

We also enjoyed our first Special Event of the session…State Fair! Campers enjoyed our inflatables, played State Fair games, enjoyed State Fair snacks, and spent time getting to know new friends. It was a complete and total blast! We ended our evening with Team Initiation where our new campers were initiated into the Red or Blue team! 

It was an amazing first day at Camp OTX!
