THE WORSHIP LEADER HAS A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO USE HIS/HER MUSIC LEADERSHIP SKILLS IN The Worship Leader at Camp OTX has a unique opportunity to use their musical and leadership talents to inspire both campers and staff. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of Camp OTX’s mission, creating impactful worship experiences for the entire camp community.
This position offers hands-on experience in song selection, service planning, communication, teamwork, and servant-hearted ministry, allowing you to ensure organized, professional, and meaningful worship services throughout the summer. Each evening, you’ll lead one of two age-specific services, tailoring worship to different camper groups. Additionally, you’ll oversee staff worship services and help plan all-camp worship gatherings each session.
While experience working with children is preferred, it’s not required. Previous experience in leading worship or participating in worship teams is preferred for this position. The hours are long, and the work can be challenging, but the opportunity to foster spiritual growth, build connections, and lead makes this role deeply rewarding.
