Each summer, Camp OTX selects 12 dynamic, college-aged individuals to join our Media Team as Photographers. This unique role offers the chance to work in a Christian camp environment while gaining valuable personal and professional growth.
As a Photographer at Camp OTX, you’ll not only have the opportunity to capture memorable moments but also enhance your skills in project management, time management, and photo editing using software like Lightroom. By the end of the summer, you’ll have a diverse portfolio of photos showcasing your talent, creativity, and growth. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Capture daily activities, special events, and candid moments, ensuring all key moments of the camp experience are documented.
- Utilize Lightroom to refine images, adjust lighting, and ensure each photo meets professional standards.
- Organize, archive, and maintain an efficient photo library, ensuring quick access and easy retrieval for various camp marketing projects.
- Work closely with other team members, including videographers and social media interns, to ensure cohesive media output across different platforms.
- Contribute to the creative vision of the OTX Marketing Team, offering suggestions and innovative ideas for capturing unique shots that tell the camp’s story.
In addition to these hands-on responsibilities, Camp OTX can collaborate with your school to help fulfill internship or academic credit requirements, making this a perfect opportunity for aspiring photographers looking to build their portfolios in a real-world setting.
